Bravo1 Athletic & Special Event Supervisors help create safe, welcoming, well-run events across Greenville and Pickens County. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys working with people, staying calm under pressure, and making sure guests, clients, staff, and event partners receive excellent customer service from arrival through departure. Supervisors support athletic events, festivals, concerts, private events, and other special events by leading event staff, managing guest entry and access control, monitoring event flow, and helping resolve issues quickly and professionally.
What You’ll Own
Own the guest experience by creating a professional, helpful, and welcoming environment at every checkpoint, entrance, post, and interaction.
Own event-day supervision for assigned Bravo1 staff, including post assignments, breaks, communication, coaching, and follow-through.
Own front-line event safety by supporting guest entry, access control, bag checks, ID checks, crowd awareness, and designated entry and exit points.
Own calm, timely problem solving by addressing guest concerns, staff questions, and operational issues while escalating concerns when needed.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise Bravo1 event & security staff assigned to athletic events, festivals, concerts, venue events, and other special events in Greenville and Pickens County.
Provide excellent customer service to guests, clients, venue partners, vendors, and team members while maintaining a calm, professional presence.
Lead guest entry operations, including greeting guests, answering questions, managing lines, supporting ticketing or credential checks, and keeping entry points moving smoothly.
Support access control and event safety tasks, including bag checks, ID checks, wristband or credential verification, monitoring designated posts, and helping ensure guests enter and exit through approved areas.
Assign staff to posts, communicate expectations clearly, monitor post coverage, coordinate breaks, and adjust staffing as event needs change.
Respond to guest questions, complaints, access issues, lost-and-found needs, minor incidents, and service concerns with professionalism and sound judgment.
Monitor event areas for guest flow, safety concerns, prohibited items, blocked exits, weather concerns, crowd issues, or other situations requiring attention.
Communicate with clients, venue representatives, law enforcement, emergency personnel, and Bravo1 leadership as needed to support a safe and successful event.
Complete shift reports, incident notes, staff attendance records, post notes, and other required documentation accurately and on time.
Assist with setup, signage, barricades, cones, radios, supplies, check-in materials, and other event support tasks as assigned.
Supervisor Expectations
Lead assigned shifts from staff check-in through event close, making sure team members know where to be, what to do, and how to communicate during the event.
Model the customer service standard expected from Bravo1, especially during high-volume entry, guest frustration, weather delays, denied entry, or other challenging moments.
Coach staff in the moment when service, professionalism, safety awareness, or post coverage needs improvement.
Maintain radio or phone communication with leadership and event contacts, sharing updates clearly and escalating concerns promptly.
Help create an event environment where guests feel welcomed, staff feel supported, and clients feel confident in Bravo1’s professionalism.
Professional Standards & Company Expectations
Take ownership of assigned work, follow through on commitments, and communicate proactively when support or clarification is needed.
Represent Bravo1 Protection with professionalism and reflect our brand values in your work, communication, decision-making, and service to others.
Communicate quickly and professionally with clients, guests, teammates, vendors, and partners, recognizing that some work-related communication may occur after hours due to the event-based nature of our business.
Handle client, vendor, and employee concerns with professionalism, sound judgment, and timely escalation when needed.
Support a positive, inclusive, and accountable work environment that aligns with our company culture and standards.
Be dependable, solutions-focused, and adaptable as business needs, priorities, and event conditions change.
Use company technology, communication platforms, and digital systems consistently, accurately, and responsibly to complete your work and stay informed.
Submit digital documents, reports, checklists, receipts, and other required records accurately and on time.
Attend required company meetings, trainings, and check-ins as scheduled, and come prepared to actively participate.
Stay well-versed in company offerings, policies, safety standards, and service expectations, and follow updates as they are communicated.
Handle company, client, and employee information with professionalism, discretion, and appropriate confidentiality.
Follow all applicable laws, licensing requirements, and company procedures related to your work, including safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and workplace conduct standards.
Use company property, equipment, and workspaces responsibly and help maintain them in clean, organized, working condition.
Support alcohol service or alcohol-related event duties as needed, in accordance with company policy and applicable law.
Maintain a professional appearance and present yourself in a way that reflects our hospitality standards and brand.
