We’re the powerhouse behind Liquid Catering, Events at Judson Mill, The 405, Bravo1 Protection, and High Spirits Events. What began as a small bartending company in the owners garage in 2011 has grown into a dynamic hospitality group with 40 full-time and over 150 part-time team members, producing 1,000+ unforgettable events every year.

The Banquet & Event Staff Experience

As part of our on-call event team, you’ll have the opportunity to work a variety of exciting roles at some of the Upstate’s biggest and best events. Each shift is different, and you’ll play a vital part in making it all run smoothly. Roles may include:

Banquet Staff Responsibilities

  • Set up and break down event spaces (tables, chairs, décor)

  • Bus tables and assist with food service

  • Wash dishes and support catering teams

  • Help with general event duties as needed

Bravo1 Event Staff Responsibilities

Parking Attendants

  • Collect parking fees

  • Direct traffic and manage vehicle flow during events

Gate/Ticketing Assistance

  • Sell and scan tickets at event entrances

  • Provide friendly guest check-in service

  • ID Checks

Gate Checks

  • Conduct bag checks, wanding, and ID Checks when applicable

Perimeter Control

  • Stand post at assigned event entry/exit points

  • Ensure only authorized guests and staff enter designated areas

The Perks

  • Flexible Scheduling – We post the available shifts, you pick the ones that work for you. We do ask that you work at least 2 events per month or 6 shifts per quarter.

    • The busiest months are April, May, September, October, and November.

    • Most shifts are on the weekends in the Greenville area, with some events in Clemson.

    • Our slower season is typically January, February, July, and August

  • Fun, High-Energy Events – From festivals and concerts to weddings and galas, no two shifts are ever the same.

  • Extra Income on Your Terms – Perfect for students, retirees, or anyone looking to supplement their income.

The Details

  • 💵 Pay: $14.00–$16.00/hour based on your role, training level, and the event

  • 💰 Tips: Some events include tipping opportunities

  • 📆 Schedule: Flexible, part-time, gig-style — you choose the shifts that work for you (we do require availability for some Saturdays)

  • 👕 Uniform: Black pants (or shorts, when allowed), black sneakers — we provide the shirts

  • 💳 Pay Frequency: Weekly paychecks — you're an employee, not an independent contractor

  • 📚 Training: Includes online training and a required in-person orientation

  • 📍 Location: Most events are in Greenville, SC, with occasional regional travel (travel stipends provided when applicable)

Major Event Dates: Must be able to work 4+ of the events listed below

  • Saturday, March 14

  • Saturday, March 28 (Clemson Spring football game)

  • Saturday, May 2 (George Strait concert in Clemson)

  • May 7-10 (Artisphere)

  • June 26-27 (Morgan Wallen concert in Clemson)

These are our biggest events of the year, and full team participation is critical to ensure success. We appreciate your commitment and teamwork during this busy and exciting season!

Job requirements

  • Must be able to be on your feet for 8+ hours. Should also be able to lift, move, and carry 25 lbs. We can make some accommodations for disabilities with notice.

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

  • Must have good customer service skills.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Must have reliable transportation.

  • Must have a clean criminal history.

  • Will be required to pass initial and random drug screens.

  • Must have some Saturday availability.

  • Must have a cell phone with data - you'll do all your scheduling online. Must have reliable communication via email.
