Banquet/Event Staff

High Spirits Hospitality is looking for PART TIME smiling faces to work festivals, wedding, corporate events, and more! High Spirits Hospitality is the parent company to Liquid Catering, Events at Judson Mill, The 405, Bravo1 Protection, and High Spirits Events. What started as a small bartending company in our owner's garage in 2011 has grown into a thriving business with 50 full-time employees and 100+ part-time employees providing services for over 1,000 events a year. We are currently looking to hire individuals who would like to work events such as:

• Artisphere in May

• euphoria in September

• Fall for Greenville in October

• Hog & Barrel in November

• Weekend weddings, galas, & other events

• Plus many, many more!

Hired staff will complete any or all of the following duties; these are NOT separate positions.

• Banquet Staff - bus tables, set-up & break-down for events, assist with general event duties, washing dishes, etc.

• Parking attendants - collect money and direct parking

• Gate/Ticketing Assistance - sell and take tickets

• Gate Checks - conduct bag checks/wanding/temperature checks

• Perimeter Control - stand a post on an event perimeter ensuring unauthorized people don't enter the property

• ID Checks/Wristbanding

These events are a ton of fun and the scheduling is flexible. We post the dates and shifts that are available, you choose when you want to work! We do require you to work at least 2 shifts per month or 6 shifts per quarter. There is some seasonality to this position, with our slower months being January, February, July, and August. This job is great for people who want to supplement their income on their own schedule. Most shifts are in the Greenville area on the weekends.

The Details

• Pay is $12.50-$15 an hour depending on the shift, your level of training, and position. There is the potential to earn tips as well.

• This is a part-time, gig-style position. You choose when you want to work, however some Saturdays are required. 

• The uniform is black pants (sometimes shorts) with black sneakers. We provide shirts.

• Paychecks are issued weekly. You will be an employee of High Spirits Hospitality, this is NOT contract work.

• There is some online training and an in-person orientation you will complete.

• Most events are in the Greenville area, although we travel regionally for some events. Travel stipends are provided as needed.

• Must be able to stand for 8+ hours. Should also be able to lift, move, and carry 50+ lbs.

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

• Must have good customer service skills.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Must have reliable transportation.

• Must have a clean criminal history.

• Will be required to pass initial and random drug screens.

• Must work 2+ shifts per month or 6 shifts per quarter.

• Must have a cell phone with data - you'll do all your scheduling and employee paperwork online.

• Must have reliable communication via email.
