Now Hiring: Part-Time Bartenders
💡 This is a part-time position. We do not currently have full-time roles available, but exceptional candidates may be considered for advancement.
Our bartenders are typically professionals with day jobs who want to make extra money at night and on weekends. We’re looking for passionate, driven individuals with great customer service skills and no ego!
This role is ideal for those who want flexibility: you’ll typically work 2–6 shifts per month, and in addition to bartending, you may also have the opportunity to pick up banquet staff shifts.
Fall Season Staffing Requirement – Mandatory Event Availability
All staff hired for the fall season must be available to work during the following major events:
Indie Craft – September 12 & 13
Euphoria – September 18–21
Fall for Greenville – October 9–12
Hog & Barrel – October 24–26
These are our biggest events of the year, and all hands are on deck. Full team participation is required to ensure the success of each event.

Types of Events You’ll Work
Weddings, concerts, sporting events, corporate events, festivals, and more. No two shifts are ever the same.
Key Responsibilities
Serve guests with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a smile
Pour beer, wine, and cocktails accurately and with style
Prepare mixed drinks per recipe (cocktail training provided after beer/wine experience)
Monitor guest behavior and promote safe alcohol consumption
Check IDs to ensure guests are of legal drinking age
Set up and break down bars, clean the bar area, and assist with general event logistics
Load/unload vehicles; stock and restock bar equipment and supplies
Work some shifts as Banquet Staff (bussing, barbacking, greeting guests, etc.)
Uphold safety standards and comply with all alcohol service laws
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth event execution
Document incidents and report any safety concerns per company policy
Represent the High Spirits brand with pride and professionalism
What You Should Know
Shifts are picked via an app where you can sign up based on your availability
We ask that team members work at least 6 shifts per quarter
Most events are on Saturdays—Saturday availability is essential
Hourly pay starts at $17 + pooled tips
Events are primarily in Greenville & Clemson, with some held on-site at our venues in Greenville
Uniform: Black dress pants, black shoes, and a Liquid Catering uniform shirt (provided)

Job requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age
Weekend availability is required (most shifts are on Saturdays)
Preferred: Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience, ideally in a club, bar, or other high-volume environment
Exceptional customer service, communication, and critical thinking skills
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 lbs
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs overhead
Must be able to work outdoors in heat and other weather conditions for 8+ hours
Must be able to stand and move continuously for 8 hours without a formal break
Authorized to work in the United States
Must be fluent in English (read, write, and speak)
Smartphone required with talk, text, and a data plan to operate our scheduling app
Must work at least 2 shifts per month (6 shifts per quarter minimum)
Reliable transportation to and from events is required
