High Spirits Hospitality is the parent company to Liquid Catering, Events at Judson Mill, The 405, Bravo1 Protection, and High Spirits Events. What started as a small bartending company in our owner's garage in 2011 has grown into a thriving business with 50 full-time employees and 100+ part-time employees providing services for over 1,000 events a year. We are considering both part-time and full-time applicants. Candidates must have night and weekend availability. We can be somewhat flexible with the schedule for part-time, but candidates should have at least 1 day of weekday availability and be willing to work 2-3 weekends per month. A full-time candidate will have a more consistent schedule, including some night and weekend work. This position does all the manual tasks necessary to support our event operations.

Job Duties

Follow directions from supervisors to ensure that our facilities are maintained and cleaned, allowing us to exceed our client’s expectations.
Clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, parking lots, offices, and other work areas according to appropriate checklists.
Set up and break down event equipment according to the designated floor plan. This includes moving and placing tables, chairs, linens, and other equipment. There is some moving of equipment up and down stairs.
Complete laundry tasks, including washing, drying, pressing, and folding towels and linens.
Wash, dry, polish, sort, and put away dishes.
Clean Airbnb apartments according to standards. These cleans are time-sensitive from 11:00 AM-3:00 PM.
Work events such as weddings, corporate events, and festivals in a janitorial/set-up role.
Assist with event food and beverage preparation.

Expectations

Be on time for work each day as scheduled.
Work independently to complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner. Should be able to manage and prioritize incoming tasks and requests.
Have a smartphone with phone, text, and data plan with consistent access to email communication. Provide exceptional customer service to our visiting clients and guests. Must be able to think critically and problem solve, sometimes in high-stress situations. Should be flexible and be able to adapt tasks as priorities change.

Perks

Hourly pay of $15.00-$17.00 an hour, based on experience and the shift times.

Job requirements

Must be able to lift and move 50 lbs. without assistance.
Must be able to lift 20 lbs. overhead.
Must have the stamina to work 8 hour shifts on your feet.
Must own a vehicle and be able to drive it to work (have to drive between locations).
Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving history (will have to drive company vehicles).
Must own a cell phone with a data plan.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be available on Saturdays and Sundays.
Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
Must have a clean criminal history.
Must be willing to comply with our Workplace Wellness Policy.
