We are looking for a full-time Housekeeping Supervisor. We have three event spaces, two offices, a warehouse, and two Airbnb apartments that need daily and weekly cleaning. Ideal hours would be Thursday-Monday, although you could take periodic weekends off and work short Sundays as needed.

Job Duties

  • Supervise and direct housekeeping staff to ensure all facilities are clean, maintained, and prepared to exceed client and guest expectations. You’d be supervising 1-2 staff members with varying schedules. Depending on the season and staffing levels, you’d be completing 50-80% of the tasks yourself.

  • Compile housekeeping staff schedules and task lists. Ensure cleaning of rooms, hallways, restrooms, parking areas, offices, outdoor, and common areas is completed according to established checklists, schedules, and quality standards.

  • Ensure event venue spaces are prepared and housekeeping products are stocked for events.

  • Manage laundry operations, including scheduling, quality control, and proper handling of washing, drying, pressing, and folding of towels and tablecloths.

  • Supervise dish room operations, ensuring dishes are properly washed, dried, polished, sorted, and stored.

  • Monitor housekeeping inventory levels and communicate purchasing needs for cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment in a timely manner.

  • Conduct inspections of completed work and address deficiencies through coaching, retraining, or corrective action.

  • Oversee Airbnb apartment turnovers to ensure all units meet cleanliness and presentation standards within strict timeframes (11:00 AM–3:00 PM).

  • Coordinate event setup and breakdown according to approved floor plans, including proper placement of tables, chairs, linens, and equipment. Provide hands-on support as needed, including managing work that involves stairs.

  • Coordinate daily work assignments, prioritize time-sensitive tasks, and adjust staffing as needed to meet operational demands.

  • Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, efficiency, and attention to detail across the housekeeping team.

Expectations

  • Be on time for work each day as scheduled.

  • Attend and be well-prepared for all event shifts, staff meetings, training, and retreats.

  • Manage and prioritize incoming tasks and requests from the CEO and senior team members.

  • Must be able to complete tasks on time and efficiently.

  • Own a cell phone with text, voice, and data plan that can be used for work purposes.

  • Must use company technology tools appropriately.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients and guests.

  • Must be able to think critically and problem solve, sometimes in very high stress situations.

  • Demonstrate excellent organizational and verbal and written communication skills.

  • Come to work with a positive attitude, ready to work hard and be a supportive team member.

  • Must have a vehicle and be able to drive between locations.

Job requirements

  • Must be able to lift and move 50 lbs. without assistance.

  • Must be able to lift 20 lbs. overhead.

  • Must have the stamina to work 8 hour shifts on your feet.

  • Must own a vehicle and be able to drive it to work (have to drive between locations).

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving history (will have to drive company vehicles) 

  • Must own a cell phone with a data plan.

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Must be available most Saturdays and some Sundays.

  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English.

  • Must have a clean criminal history.

  • Must be willing to comply with our Workplace Wellness Policy.
